It's no secret that the easiest way to breach an infrastructure environment is to be invited to do so. Help protect your staff, assets, and network with the latest in filtering, malware, and web security.
April 30 (11am - noon) or May 2 (10am - 11)
ContentKeeper provides CIPA compliant web filtering, proactive malware protection, and thwarts common filtering avoidance methods with full SSL decoding and inspection.
Advanced Threat Protection
ContentKeeper combines multiple layers of advanced malware identification technology to provide a sophisticated defense against web threats:
Malicious URL Filtering – Blocks known infected websites. Constantly updated via patented Closed Loop Collaborative Filtering network.
Streaming Malware Defense – High performance signature-based anti-virus with fast, real-time packet inspection. SMD identifies known viruses and spyware.
Browser Analysis Engine – Isolated browser sandbox. Automatically tests unknown Web files, intelligently assesses the behavior of JavaScript (including obfuscation) and unpacks PDF files looking for any signs of malicious activity.
Cloud Sandbox – A virtualized test computer environment where suspicious samples are executed and analyzed for any signs of malicious behavior. CSB analyses files that pass the previous layers of anti-malware inspection.
Infected Client Isolation – Quarantines hosts exhibiting suspicious behavior and alerts administrators before an outbreak.
SSL Decoding
HTTPS / SSL is one of the fastest growing types of Web traffic. Encrypted traffic poses a risk to CIPA compliance and is often used to evade web filtering solutions. ContentKeeper provides real-time, agent-free SSL decryption, which enables full protection and filtering of HTTPS encrypted Web traffic and policy based control over sites with self-signed or invalid security certificates. SSL decoding also negates the use of filtering avoidance systems, like anonymous proxies, preventing students from circumventing filtering.
On April 30th and May 2nd
ContinuityFocus and ContentKeeper will be discussing Content Filtering for Next Generation Learning Environments.

| Behavior-Based Anti-Malware DetectionContentKeeper can dynamically analyze malware threats using a browser and OS behavioral analysis engine (BAE). Behavioral analysis goes beyond signature based detection methods to identify new and polymorphic threats. Executable file risk levels are evaluated based a wide range of suspicious criteria. Examples include on attempts to:

| SSL DecodingTo Decode or not to Decode... That is the question... Decoding SSL Traffic can be important to ensuring a CIPA compliance and maintaining consistently enforced web filtering policy. Students and content providers can use HTTPS and SSL traffic to make it difficult to provide effective filtering. Anonymous proxies leverage SSL to allow unfiltered access. Malware often hides command and control traffic in SSL tunnels. In addition, many large scale web properties (such as Google) use wildcard certificates so the Certificate chain is insufficient to distinguish between Google Books and Google Talk. Enforcing YouTube for Schools over HTTPS also requires decoding as the mechanism requires re-writing the URL to include the School Key and that is not possible within a traditional SSL session. Privacy and confidentiality concerns mandate the ability to granularly control over which categories and sites are decoded. ContentKeeper allows SSL Bypass settings to be specified on a per policy, per category, and custom site basis. While your institution may not be ready to implement selective SSL decoding, keep your options open by selecting a solution that includes that functionality and doesn't require a complicated agent to be installed on each machine.
